OVERVIEW

Pokhara is a beautiful city located in the eastern region of Nepal. It is situated in the mid-hill of the Himalayas and has a varied elevation, ranging from about 1000m to over 7500m within a 30-kilometre distance. This results in a high level of rainfall in the area, making it the rainiest place in Nepal. The city is surrounded by the Seti Gandaki river and its tributaries, which have created gorges and canyons, giving the city a unique terraced landscape. Pokhara is known for its stunning lakes like Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, and Rupa Lake, as well as attractions such as Patale Chhango (David’s Fall), Mahadev Cave, Mahendra Cave, and the Rani Ban forest. From the city, you can also enjoy clear views of majestic mountains like Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, and the iconic Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhare). Other cultural and religious sites, including Bindabasini temple, Barahi temple, Kalika temple, Tibetan camps, and monasteries, also attract tourists. Overall, Pokhara is a popular tourist destination renowned for its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and adventure opportunities.

Chitwan National Park is a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site located in the Chitwan district of Nepal. It covers 932 sq. km of deciduous forests and is situated near the floodplains of the Narayani, Rapti, and Reu rivers. The park headquarters at Kasara is a short drive from Bharatpur and can be reached within 20 minutes by air or 146 km by road from Kathmandu. Chitwan National Park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceroses and a significant population of nocturnal Royal Bengal Tigers. The park offers a wilderness experience with rich ecosystems comprising mammals, birds, reptiles, and aquatic animals. It is a paradise for nature lovers and conservation enthusiasts.

Lumbini is a renowned pilgrimage site associated with the birth of Lord Buddha. The site, located in the gardens of Lumbini, is considered sacred by Buddhists worldwide. It attracts pilgrims from different parts of the world, including the Indian emperor Ashoka, who erected a commemorative pillar there. Lumbini is being developed as a Buddhist pilgrimage center and showcases archaeological remains related to the birth of Lord Buddha. It holds significant religious and historical importance.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu (1350m).
The representative of Nepal Venture Trekking assists with your reception at Tribhuvan.International Airport upon your arrival and transfers you to check-in at the pre-booked hotel inKathmandu for BB Plan overnight accommodations.

Day 2: Kathmandu-Lumbini flight and exploration of Maya Devi temple.
Fly from Kathmandu to Lumbini (the birthplace of Lord Buddha) for about six hours to observethe Maya Devi temple (Maya Devi was the mother of Lord Buddha), including an important andhistoric structure the Ashoka pillar, which shows the particular place where Buddha was born andso many other Buddhist-related monuments. Apart from that, Lumbini has ruins of variousstupas and monasteries The overnight accommodation is arranged as per the confirmedcategory hotel on the BB plan.

Day 03: Explore Tilaurakot and drive to Chitwan National Park.
After breakfast in the morning, proceed to Tilaurakot to visit and explore the ancient Palace ofLord (Durbar) and then drive you to Chitwan National Park (415m), Saurah, and the check-in resort.After a refreshment drink and briefing about activities to be done in the Jungle Safari by themanager for the following days, and with a short rest, you will be taken to Sunset View along theriverbank, have dinner, and watch the Slide show on wildlife at the Resort.

Day 4: Full-day jungle safari activities and exploration of wildlife.
In Chitwan National Park, you will enjoy a full day of Wild Life Safari activities such as anElephant-back safaris or Jeep drives in the Deep forest, Nature walks, a Canoe trip or boat ride,Elephant bathing, bird watching, Tharu Village tour, etc. as per time permits Trained localNaturalists and guides will guide all of you. Animals and birds to be seen are rhinoceros,crocodiles, bears, monkeys, several species of deer, pythons, peacocks, hornbills, andwoodpeckers (among more than 450 species of birds recorded in the park); overnight at aresort on the full-board meal plan.

Day 5: Drive from Chitwan to Pokhara and hotel transfer.
After breakfast, we drive you to Pokhara (4/5 hours) by Tourist bus or private vehicle and drop you at thehotel in BB Plan, free time, or boating in Fewa Lake.

Day 6: Pokhara City Sightseen Tour.
Fewa Lake, Devis Falls, Seti Gorge, Barahai Temple, and the World Peace Pagoda

Day 7 : Pokhara via Sarangkot Drive back to Kathmandu.
Drive to Sarangkot early in the morning. You may walk on the hill and watch the mountain sunrise.view. It also offers a panoramic view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri.and other mountains, Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, back to the hotel, take breakfast, anddrive back to Kathmandu by private car.

Day 8: Departure.
