OVERVIEW

Manaslu Circuit Trekking might be a bit challenging to trekkers who have no previous experience in trekking or if they are not physically strong enough, as the highest peak of the trek is the ‘Larkya La Pass," which lies at an altitude above sea level and is broadly believed to be one of the most dramatic passes crossing the Himalayas. But, luckily, the trekkers must not limit themselves, as much of the trek involves hiking on the usual mountain trails, which is within the capabilities of travelers with decent cardiovascular fitness. As the Manaslu Region is considered to be one of the most secluded and isolated regions in Nepal, for those who do not want to share the experience and sight of their trek with other travelers and wish to become one with nature, this trek is particularly made for them.

What makes this trek different from the rest is its untouched and exclusive beauty. The tourism industry on the Manaslu Circuit first opened its doors in 1992. Since then, the area has become one of the most popular tourist sites for trekkers. Its natural essence and thrilling adventures are something people find exciting and soothing at the same time. Mounting onto the ridges and crossing the never-ending shaky bridges, quivers within the travelers' legs pound their hearts in their chests, exciting every emotion in the body. The thrill offers a lifetime of memories and emotions to the travelers, which they do not even realize they are capable of feeling. Apart from that, travelers get a chance to encounter the scenic drive of the world’s eighth tallest mountain, Mt. Manaslu, along with Mt. Ganesh Himal Range, among other popular peaks. The trekkers will come across a fascinating mix of cultures in the authentic Hindu and Tibetan-style Buddhist village, as the region lies between the borders of Tibet and the lowlands of Nepal. There are beautiful alpine meadows that visitors witness along the trail. Subsequently, there are now plenty of tea houses, which are a major attraction for tourists these days.
