OVERVIEW

Chitwan is a very popular and wonderful tourist destination for a wildlife safari tour. This is the oldest national park in Nepal. It is situated in the subtropical inner Terai lowland of south-central Nepal. The park was listed as a world heritage site in 1984 by UNESCO. Nearly 70 percent of the parks are Sal forest, 20 percent grassland, 7 percent riverine forest, and 3 percent Chirpine with Sal forest. There are more than 43 types of mammals inside the park. It is especially known for the endangered one-horn rhinoceros, the Gharial and Magar crocodiles, and the tiger, along with many other similar species such as elephant, gaur, Samara deer, pangolin, genetic dolphin, striped hyena, four-horned antelope, and around 450 types of birds found in the park, like the black and white stork, rant hornbill, Bengal Florian, lesser Florian, etc. There are many common birds in the park, such as woodpeckers, peafowl, red jungle fowl, and many more.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu: After arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will meet our representative, who will receive you outside the airport with Nepal Venture Trekking signboard and transfer you to your respective hotel by private vehicle. You will meet our manager at the hotel, receive a briefing about the tour, and then collect your due payment. You will enjoy the evening and then have a pleasant stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu-Chitwan: Today, in the morning after breakfast, we drive to Chitwan National Park. Nearly 175 km from Kathmandu, check-in at the hotel, refreshments, and lunch will be provided. After lunch, the nature guide will brief you about the program. After a short rest, we will visit Tharu village, the elephant breeding center tour, and the sunset view from the river bank. Day 03: Full-day wildlife safari activities: This day, early in the morning, you will get a wake-up call at 6:00 am with bed tea and transfer to the elephant back safari for a jungle excursion. After the elephant back safari, we will return to the hotel for breakfast, then an elephant bath (note: you can swim or bathe with the elephant and view depending on the weather). After lunch, we will have a chance to canoe ride, go on jungle walks with a nature guide, and then return to the hotel.

Day 4: Chitwan-Kathmandu: This day you will be back in Kathmandu from Chitwan. Today you want to come to Kathmandu or go somewhere; it's your choice. Arriving in Kathmandu, you will transfer to your respected hotel, be refreshed, and take some rest. In the evening, you can buy souvenirs and gifts for your family, relatives, friends, and loved ones back home, enjoy a farewell dinner with local food and a cultural show, and then have a pleasant stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Final departure: one-hour mountain flight (if interesting) According to the itinerary, this is the last day of your package. This day you will be transferred to the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, from where you will board the flight to your next beautiful destination from Kathmandu.
